Welcome to Torziva Catalog ("the App"). By installing or using the App in your Shopify store, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App immediately.

1. Description of Service

Torziva Catalog provides automated product catalog scanning, quality checks, and AI-driven suggestions for Shopify merchants. We read your product data to detect issues (such as missing images, empty descriptions, or duplicate titles) and, upon your explicit request, provide automated fixes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time.

2. Subscription, Billing, and Plan Limits

Certain features, such as AI-generated suggestions or increased scanning limits, require a paid subscription (e.g., Growth or Agency plans).

  • Shopify Billing: All billing, invoicing, and payment processing is handled exclusively through the Shopify Billing API. We do not store or process your credit card information.
  • Plan Limits: Your use of the App is subject to the limits of your selected tier (e.g., product scan limits or monthly AI quotas).
  • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time by uninstalling the App or downgrading to a free plan through your Shopify admin panel.

3. AI-Generated Suggestions Disclaimer

Important Disclaimer on AI Suggestions

Torziva Catalog utilizes third-party artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to generate suggested fixes for your product catalog (such as alt-text or descriptions).

AI suggestions are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific products. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before clicking "Apply" to write the changes back to your Shopify store. Torziva Catalog is not liable for any inaccuracies, SEO penalties, or misrepresentations caused by applying unchecked AI suggestions.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for any illegal, unauthorized, or malicious purpose. You may only use the App on Shopify stores that you own or have explicit authorization to manage. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or bypass any of the App's quotas or security mechanisms.

5. App Uninstallation and Data Deletion

If you uninstall Torziva Catalog from your Shopify store, your subscription will be immediately cancelled. Furthermore, in compliance with Shopify's GDPR requirements, uninstalling the App will permanently delete all of your store's data from our database. This includes all historical scan records, detected issues, and completeness scores. This deletion is automated and cannot be reversed.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Torziva Catalog and its developers, affiliates, or partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of SEO rankings, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of (or inability to use) the App, or from the application of AI-generated suggestions to your live storefront.
